knowledge, knowing that they are our most important asset. We know that learning is a continuous
process rather than the result of a one-time event and that individuals have varying needs when it
comes to professional development. Keeping that in mind, Sg2 has a unique blend of opportunities that
are designed to support your professional development.
Sg2 is a learning organization. Our formal courses allow team members to experience classroom training
and then apply what they have learned to real world situations. We offer coursework in health care
fundamentals, proposal writing, presentation, facilitation and selling skills among others.
Sg2 uses career maps to articulate the skills, knowledge and experience that are needed by position and
area. These road maps guide you in the creation of your own professional development plan.
At Sg2 there are many informal opportunities to develop leadership skills such as leading internal
or external initiatives, mentoring less experienced team members or leading one of our many athletic
and social clubs. Sg2 also has a formal leadership development program that equips project managers
with the skills needed to delegate work and motivate and evaluate their team members through goal
setting, feedback and formal evaluation.
