First and foremost, Henry is a thinker—a thinker entrenched in the world of science, medicine and innovation. As a digital health evangelist and a passionate promoter of digital health technologies, e-learning and disruptive innovation, he is a leading voice in the convergence of technology and health, helping to define, dissect and deliberate global trends.
A leader of Sg2’s clinical technology research, Henry analyzes the impact of medical technologies on care delivery, especially in cardiovascular services, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, surgery and physician practices. He also collaborates with organizations to develop operational strategies that enhance overall program development, increase market share, foster alignment with physicians, improve profitability and optimize care delivery.
Henry brings to Sg2 educational, provider and industry experience that spans a career
of more than 40 years in medical education, imaging department management, online education product development, and private practice business development and marketing. Leveraging this background, he assists clients in strategizing technology adoption, deployment and operational efficiencies to improve throughput and lower the cost of care.
Henry is actively redefining the role of social media and influence marketing in health care. He maintains a regular online presence on social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn and is considered a major authority in the health care digital space. He shares his vision for how digital technology will impact health care as a lecturer on technology trends for the master of business administration/master of health services administration programs at the University of New Haven and Sacred Heart University
Before joining Sg2, Henry led a team of visionary professionals at Philips Healthcare in developing one of the first online learning platforms dedicated to providing high-quality continuing education courses to technologists and nurses. Still active today, the platform meets the continuing education needs of over 300,000 professionals worldwide.
When he is not speaking, writing, Tweeting, blogging or Periscoping about health care technology, you can usually find Henry behind the lens of a camera capturing nature and landscapes in photographs or at the keyboard composing choral music.
