Michael StrileskySenior Principal
Mike is a senior principal with over 18 years of health care strategy and consulting experience. He is the leader of the physician strategy consulting practice at Sg2, which is designed to optimize how physicians can be successful and lead the transformation of care delivery with our clients and members.
He has worked across all aspects of the provider continuum and developed strategies and led engagements for community hospitals, integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers and independent provider organizations. He contributes to thought leadership in the areas of medical group strategy, hospital-physician alignment, ambulatory expansion and health care disruption.
Mike’s approach to consulting has focused on innovative projects including the development of some of the first clinically integrated networks in the country, expansion of community-based employed medical groups and scaling large provider networks on behalf of academic medical centers. A consistent focus on physicians and their role within the delivery system informs how transformational strategies are developed and how competitive advantages can be secured in a market. A common area of focus has been the emphasis around physician relationships and alignment strategies with health systems that are designed to improve the financial results and clinical delivery capabilities of each organization.
Prior to joining Sg2, Mike was a principal for DHG Healthcare in the National Strategy Practice, and he held multiple positions at Charis Healthcare after starting his health care career working at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston.
Mike received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Boston University.
