Anthony Guth

Senior Director

As a senior director on the Sg2 Intelligence team, Anthony leads research related to surgical services, service distribution and ambulatory strategy. He shapes Sg2's perspective on how organizations can effectively integrate, shift and coordinate care delivery across the System of CARE and is a frequent presenter and writer on these topics.

During his time at Sg2, Anthony previously served as a project manager on the Consulting team. In this role, he advised health systems on strategic plan development, master facility plan creation and service line expansion. His analytical skills and expert recommendations have enabled health system executives to navigate the complex health care landscape and to define their organization’s vision of the future.

Earlier in his career, Anthony worked as a statistician for a logistics and supply chain management firm, where he created models to predict sales and provide accurate demand forecasts. His work led the organization to adopt evidence-based and data-oriented decision-making processes.

He holds a master's degree in public policy from the College of William & Mary. During his time there, his research findings helped clinic directors understand various utilization scenarios and provided a strategic foundation for adapting to the ACA. Anthony earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
