Mahaya Walker
Senior DirectorAs a senior director on the Sg2 Intelligence team, Mahaya serves as a thought partner and strategic advisor to health care leaders, leading research on provider workforce, physician alignment and value-based care. She delivers actionable insights through publications, presentations and facilitated discussions to help organizations navigate shifting market demands and strengthen their preparedness for the future of health care.
Mahaya has over a decade of experience in health care. Prior to joining Sg2, she led best-practice research related to the provider workforce and medical group operations at Advisory Board. In this role she led research and advised executives on topics such as workflow optimization, access improvement and integration. She has also worked in clinical research and community health outreach for several health systems and academic research centers.
She received an MPH from Yale School of Public Health. While there, she studied social behavioral sciences and innovative models for academic-community partnerships. She received a BS in chemistry from Spelman College.
