Nikita Arora
Senior AssociateAs a member of Sg2’s Intelligence team, Nikita supports research, development and delivery of perspectives around emerging trends in health care. Her areas of focus include care at home, consumer trends and the post-acute care Impact of Change® forecast. She supports her practice’s research efforts in disrupter activity, Medicare Advantage trends and site of care shifts as well as helps clients use Sg2’s data assets to drive decision-making and strategic considerations.
Prior to joining Sg2, and while completing graduate school in Boston, Nikita held several jobs and internships that allowed her to gain experience in different health care fields. She obtained her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through a project with the emergency department at UMass Memorial Medical Center in which she provided consultative support from a Lean perspective to help address the issue of patients leaving the ED without being seen. She also interned with the Pediatric Physicians’ Organization at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she worked on a variety of quality and process improvement projects to aid practices in reaching their quarterly goals. Before attending graduate school, Nikita worked as a research study coordinator/lab manager within the neurosciences department at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The lab primarily focused on studies pertaining to functional MRIs, electroencephalograms, electrocorticography, Alzheimer disease and epilepsy.
Nikita holds a master of public health with a concentration in health care management from the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education program at Boston University School of Public Health, and she earned a bachelor of science in biology with a minor in business from The Ohio State University.
