Matthew Ritzert

As a senior consulting director on the value-based care team, Matt focuses on clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations and alternative payment models. He incorporates provider and payer perspectives to offer customized health care solutions to support the transition to value-based payments.

Prior to joining Sg2, Matt served as the vice president of clinical integration with Aultman Health Foundation. In this role he was responsible for alternative payment model contract negotiations and implementation with Medicare Advantage, commercial and government payers. He oversaw operational, financial and technical strategies, including centralized data management solutions, distribution methodologies, budgeting and financial forecasting, narrow networks and downside risk profiling. Matt collaborated with health care executives and physicians across the continuum of care to enhance the performance and experience necessary for success within a variety of alternative payment models. Matt also worked in various areas of the health care delivery system, including cardiac and vascular business development, IT system integration, strategic planning and physician relations.

Matt received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.
