As a Client Relations team leader, Michael helps health care executives achieve their organizational strategic growth and performance goals by proactively aligning Sg2 intelligence and analytic resources with their specific needs to help them engage in value-driven initiatives. Working with Sg2’s academic medical center clients, he provides a better understanding of leading practices in market trends, health care technologies and clinical advances, incorporating both domestic and global health care perspectives.

Prior to joining Sg2, Michael was the vice president of business development and senior director of consulting at NeuroSource, Inc, in Chicago, IL, where he identified new business opportunities for technology and specialty facility joint ventures, developed and managed strategic business relationships with technology vendors, and managed consulting engagements. He previously served as regional director of Thomson Reuters in Evanston, IL. His responsibilities included account management, the planning/marketing of operational and clinical improvement products, and consulting services to health care organizations. Michael has also worked as the corporate director of strategic planning and business development at Inova Health System in Falls Church, VA.

Michael earned an MS in health administration from the Medical College of Virginia and a BA, summa cum laude, in business administration and economics from King College in Tennessee.
