In Memoriam: Jay Warden, Senior Principal, Sg2
It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of Sg2 Senior Principal Jay Warden on March 1, 2020. Sg2 and our members are grateful for Jay’s passion and leadership. As the leader of Sg2’s Strategy Consulting practice, Jay advised provider organizations and life sciences companies in areas including enterprise strategy, value-based care and community health improvement. He also served in an advisory capacity to not-for-profit organizations, as well as Sg2’s pro bono project work with West Side United, and as a leadership and strategy mentor to health administration students.
Jay was a friend, colleague and advisor to countless people and organizations across our industry. Sg2 Senior Principal Eric Themm stated, “Jay had many great qualities, but the one that is most memorable for me was his sense of humor. He was quick-witted and had an uncanny ability to inject humor into tense or stressful situations. He made us laugh and helped me to keep things in the proper perspective. He will be remembered and sorely missed.”
